About Us

Many websites are impersonal and you have no idea who is behind them, so I thought I would say a little about myself and you’d know a real person is working on this one. I was a librarian after getting my Masters of Library Science degree. I loved digging out information which helped people, and so when I became a writer, I just kept on doing that in a somewhat different way. And that’s what I am doing with this website!

Here is  some of the customized postage I have created myself:

This one of my favorite llama Lil Bit actually doesn’t take my own advice as she is not really in as sharp a focus as would be ideal. My husband — who used to be a professional photographer — gave me a hard time about using her image on this and on tshirts and mugs and so forth because of that, but people love her beauty and direct gaze.

We used to have a llama ranch. Lil Bit was a real character, very friendly and also very opinionated!

The rose is art someone in my family did, and the man is my father:

How much can you really say about about custom postage, I wondered when I began this project, and I have discovered that there are so many different aspects to it that I won’t run out of subject matter for a long time!

One of my uncles taught me the rudiments of photography when I was a kid, and I have loved it ever since. My husband is a far better photographer than I am, and he helps me now. I love digital cameras, and all the things you can do with an image once it’s in your computer…. like personalized postage!
