Customized Postage: Four Ways to use it in Real Estate
September 27th, 2007 by Rosana
Customized postage is still rare enough that it’s a real attention getter. Some innovative real estate agents are finding that it’s a good tool in marketing properties. I came across one comment on a real estate website: a realtor said she was usingĀ itas part of a marketing campaign.
That got me wondering about ways people in real estate could use customized postage. Here are some ideas:
- Customized postage could be used in a special mailing about a particular place. Attractive mailing pieces — especially for high-end homes and other places — used to be quite common, but are now taking a back door to referring people to a well-designed web page. But that just means that a mailing with a photo of the property on it would stand out all the more now!
- A real estate firm could use customized postage to enhance their branding, that is, they could make attractive postage that included their name or logo.
- An agent could have customized postage made from a photo of a property that had just sold, and give them to the buyers. Great way to stick in their memory!
- When a package of documents is being sent via priority mail, customized postage could dress it up, giving it a flair that it wouldn’t otherwise have.
There are probably a lot more ways that real estate businesses could use customized postage, but this is a start! Stamps.com fills orders quickly.
